ABOUT

Catrese Medley is a creative writer, director and storyteller. Recently she wrote "Taking of the Wilsons" a dark comedy that placed high in the Atlanta Screenplay Awards. She is currently working on an hourlong drama for television centered around one woman's battle with alopecia and her tenacity to live life to the fullest.

 

Catrese moonlights as a nurse and has a unique perspective on people when they are often at their worst. She believes that our worst times are often comedic when we look back at them. Humor can also make the worst moments in life easier to swallow. ​

She has an MFA in creative writing from Full Sail University. This program has exposed her to the many forms of creative writing. Exposure includes writing for film and television, art criticism, writing for games, writing web copy, and journalism.

When not working on a writing project, Catrese can be found relaxing on a beach or spending time with family.
